What is Wellness?

Wellness, I believe, is a state of whole body harmony. To be in a state of “synergy”. Synergy, simply stated means that the effect of the whole is greater than the sum of its individual parts.

Homeopathy

Based on principle of “curing like with like”, homeopathic remedies are designed to arouse and stimulate the body’s immune response. Instead of suppressing symptoms, the objective of homeopathy is to support the inherent ability of the body to heal itself.

What to Expect


Wellness:

We start the process with a thorough personal consultation to identify areas of need. A health check questionnaire reveals specific conditions and any use of maintenance or other prescription drugs. My total wellness program of consultation and coaching specialties include; diabetes coaching, weight maintenance program and life long nutrition plan, skin disorders, bowel and cleansing techniques, immune system boosters, cholesterol and stress management. Collaborative goals are set with personal follow-up on progress.

D-I-E-T is a 4 letter swear word. Erase it from your vocabulary. Food is necessary for life. Food releases nutrients and vitamins for the body to function. When we over indulge, food turns into storage, translated into fat. Fat sucks the life out of vitamins and nutrients, our body is then starved and deprived of the healthy goodness it needs. Think of your body like a car – it requires gas (food) and oil (nutrients) to run smoothly, effectively and efficiently. The car has a "fill line" for each, gas and oil. Otherwise there is an over flow because it doesn't need any more. We need to understand our "fill line".

There is such an emotional connection with food. We eat when we're happy, festive, celebrating, gathering, meeting, sad, angry, depressed and overwhelmed to name a few emotional attachments. There are severe times as well, when we don't eat because of all of those emotions.

Coaching can help you work toward and achieve your weight management goals. Together, we create a personal eating menu. Your program could include a nutrition program to kick start your metabolism as well as an appropriate exercise routine. All that is required from you is to make your goals, and commit to the work.

As your coach, I commit to encourage you through the process, to listen, hold you accountable to your goals and the work you need to do.

Life Coaching:

As a client, you bring the agenda. You have the privilege of deciding the topic of discussion at each session. You may want to send in some background information prior to each session. My role is to not make judgments or conclusions but to listen and help to discover obstacles and stumbling blocks of achieving your goal or dream. Fears and doubts are often roadblocks that need to be put into proper perspective, as they are often like cardboard walls – without real substance.
